2014 AG is more entertaining with SNS.

 

 

The social media channel run by the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC) in 11 languages, including Korean, English, and Chinese, is very popular both in Korea and around the world. The channel has differentiated contents, including various social media contents.

 

The traditional media covers many of the typical stories involving medalist, popular sports, and popular athletes. The Social Network Service of the 2014 Asian Games brought up not only to these topics but also other various posts, such as interesting stories outside of the competitions and coverage of less popular sports.

 

A Korean blog had more than 120,000 visitors in a day when the blog opened on September 28. Currently, the IAGOC Facebook page has more than 200,000 fans. Since it opened, about 4,300 supporters joined the Facebook Club daily. Also, the Smart torch relay, which is the application of the torch relay of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, has been shared by more than 3 million fans. More than 98,800 people a day downloaded the app.

 

General Manager Jang Soo-hwan of online PR team of the IAGOC stated that the 2014 Incheon Asian Games try to provide more than 80 unique contents a day through numerous resources, involving blog reporters, crew, and SNS supporters. He wants the Games to be resourceful and fun with crowds of supports of the 2014 Asian Games.
