The first President of the OCA (1981-1991) was Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah, a member of the Kuwaiti royal family. He was succeeded by his son, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, who was elected the 2nd and current President of the OCA in the 18th General Assembly held in New Delhi in 1991.
The Secretary-General of the OCA is Indian IOC member Raja Randhir Singh. He has been with the OCA since 1991. Raja Randhir Singh’s father also played a significant role in international sports organizations, having been a member of the IOC (1947-1992), a representative of the AGF (1982), and an honorary president of the OCA (1992).
