    • Highlights : Jordan won its first Asian Games gold medal in 2006, when Mohammad Al Bakhit claimed gold in the men's 54kg taekwondo class.

      Jordan has won 20 of its 29 Asian Games medals in taekwondo, and it was in that sport in which Nabil Hassan won Jordan's second Asian Games gold medal in the 74-80kg weight division in 2010. Also in 2010, karateka Manar Shaat became Jordan's first female Asian Games champion, when she won the +68kg kumite category.
