FILM INSPIRATION
He has taken inspiration from Korean Admiral Yi Sun-Shin, a naval hero featured in the 2014 Korean film 'Roaring Currents'. "I did some research on the admiral after watching the film, and I learned that he once said, 'You're certain to live if you fight to die, and you're certain to die if you fight to live'. My mindset going into the Incheon Asian Games is that I can get the job done if I battle to die." (Asiad Daily, 19 Sep 2014)

LEARNING FROM LONDON
He learnt a lot from competing at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. "At the Olympics, I used to get really tense from the crowd noise and lighting inside the arena, but now I am able to enjoy it." (Asiad Daily, 19 Sep 2014)
