FROM ITALY TO HONG KONG
He was born to an Italian father and a Chinese mother. He was a professional fencer with the Italian police force before returning to Hong Kong, China where his mother lived. In 2000 he chose to represent Hong Kong, China. He took a scholarship with the Hong Kong Sports Institute that allowed him to continue training in Italy. He missed out on the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens as he did not receive his Hong Kong, China passport in time. (scmp.com, 09 Aug 2012)
