ELITE TRAINING
He was chosen to be part of a training programme led by US athletics coach James Michael Lafferty. His involvement means he has access to a team of strength and conditioning coaches, sports psychologists, doctors and a dietician. "The goal is to produce more medals in the Asian Games and more Filipino track and field qualifiers in the Olympics," president of the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association [PATAFA] Go Teng Kok said.
