HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENTS
In October 2013 he became the first Iranian table tennis player to compete in the Liebherr Men's World Cup. At the 2012 ITTF World Tour Morocco Open in Rabat, he won the men's singles and the U21 men's singles titles, becoming the second player [after Singapore's Ma Liang] to achieve the feat since the ITTF World Tour began in 1996. COMPETING AGAINST HIS BROTHER
He has competed against his younger brother numerous times. In June 2012 at the ITTF Euro-Africa Circuit 4th Hasan II Open in Rabat, Morocco, he competed against his younger brother Nima Alamian twice. He beat him on both occasions, in the second round of the men's singles event and in the U21 men's singles quarterfinals. Once again in January 2014, at the 3rd Fajr Cup in Tehran, Iran, the brothers were opponents in the men's singles competition final which Noshad won in seven games. (ittf.com, 3 Feb 2014)
